This Blox Adjustable Vernier Cam is designed for BMW E21, E28, E30, E34, and E36 318i models. Please note that it will not fit on E36 M3. It is compatible with BMW M20 3 Series 1800cc engines (E21, E28, E30, E34, E36) of the earlier version, roughly pre-1980, with the squared-off belt tooth shape.

Specifics And Benefits:
The Pro-Series cam gears are constructed from super lightweight 7075-T6 billet aluminium using CNC machining. They feature laser etched timing marks with +/-10 cam degrees of adjustment and a proven 6-bolt design. The outer gear is hard anodized for durability, while the center hub is Titanium anodized, giving it a racing look.
These vernier adjustable cam gears enable the cams to be advanced or retarded in relation to the crankshaft, allowing for alteration of the amount of overlap (time when the intake and exhaust valves are open simultaneously) and resulting in more power. Additionally, they contribute to saving weight from the valve-train, reducing restriction on the motor and enhancing response.
